Building the Future of Skilled Workforce Training in Central Florida
We’re proud to have recently constructed a 30,000-square-foot infrastructure training facility on an 18.5-acre site in Central Florida. What began as open pastureland is now a fully equipped training center approaching final turnover to the client.
From Farmland to Training Site in Florida
When construction began in July of 2024, this Central Florida site was open farmland. Today, it has been transformed into a purpose-built campus on 18.5 acres. Because the facility is a prefabricated metal building designed to handle high wind loads, the foundation work was extensive; some footings required up to 13 yards of concrete each.
With the structure in place, our team managed the full interior buildout, coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing partners to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the process.
A Facility Designed for Workforce Training
The new Central Florida training center includes:
Offices and support spaces for staff
Three classrooms and exterior infrastructure for field simulation training
Large restrooms with showers
Security systems and perimeter fencing for safety
These features will give the owner and their teams the space and resources needed to continue training the next generation of skilled workers.
Final Stages of Construction
Final inspections, punch list items, and site clean-up are now underway. As Superintendent Jim Stone shared, “I’m very proud of being able to get this facility built in a timely manner for the customer.”
We’re proud to bring this project to completion and provide a training center that meets our client’s needs. Delivering this project to specification reflects the dedication of our team and partners throughout the process.
